The City of League City has never been shy about its pride in Timothy Glover.
On its official Facebook page, the city introduced Glover to residents with a simple, direct invitation: “HAVE YOU MET DASH GORDON?” The post highlighted how Glover had adopted the Dash Gordon persona while making food deliveries, using it to bring smiles to as many people as possible, and how that spirit of service had grown into something the whole city could point to with pride.
The city noted that Timothy had taken his delivery work up a notch in terms of community impact, language that understates what he actually built. The Dash Gordon Foundation, formally launched in February 2023, now runs programs that bring the special needs and disability community into the spotlight: formals, pageants, a marketplace of disabled vendors, and partnerships with local institutions including the League City fire and police departments.
That connection to first responders and city leadership speaks to how deeply rooted the Foundation has become. This is not a one-person act. It is a community infrastructure, built through relationships and a shared commitment to making sure the most overlooked members of the League City area know they are valued.
The City of League City made it official. Dash Gordon is one of their own.
