Families staying at Ronald McDonald House Galveston are almost always in the middle of the hardest stretch of their lives. A child is receiving treatment, the family left home on short notice, and packing for the trip was the last thing on anyone’s mind. Clean clothes for a toddler, a coat for a cold week away from home, a pair of shoes that still fits, these are the kind of ordinary needs that turn urgent fast when a family is living out of a hospital stay instead of their own home.
The Dash Gordon Foundation is running a September Clothing Drive to help close that gap. We are collecting new or gently used clothing in every size, from infants to adults, and getting it directly into the hands of families staying at Ronald McDonald House Galveston.
Drop off your donations at The Bly Team, 217 E Main Street in League City, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Every donation you bring in enters you to win a $100 Visa gift card, courtesy of The Bly Team, who stepped up to make giving a little sweeter.
If you have questions, or want to coordinate a larger drop-off, reach out to Shelly at (409) 977-1903.

Clothes sitting in a closet do not help anyone. Clothes on their way to a family who needs them do. Clean out a drawer, grab a bag, and help us bring a little more comfort to families who are already carrying enough.
